Alcoholics Anonymous
A national organisation offering help and support to people who are trying to overcome their drinking problems. Local groups throughout the country meet regularly to offer practical advice and fellowship.

Rehab 4 Addiction 

A national helpline offering assistance for people who suffer from mental health problems and drug/alcohol addiction.

Scottish Families Affected by Drugs
Offers support, information and signposting to local support for family members, friends or anyone affected by another person’s drug misuse. The Network runs a help line (08080 10 10 11) as well as a website.

Turning Point Scotland
Turning Point tackles social exclusion by providing customised community care packages for people who have been excluded as a result of poor mental health, learning disabilities, homelessness or drug and alcohol misuse.

Anxiety UK
Anxiety UK (formerly The National Phobics Society), was formed in 1970. It’s a user-led organisation that believes those who have personal experience of anxiety are often best-placed to support others similarly affected.

Destigmatize
Destigmatize is a new project of Anxiety UK aiming to provide information and support for sufferers of anxiety in the Asian population.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Action
Established in 1991, OCD Action is a national charity for people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD). It provides information and support, and promotes recovery from: Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Compulsive Skin Picking (CSP) and Trichotillomania (TTM).

National Association of Widows
