Children and Young People

insertimage

We want all children and young people to have the chance to learn and develop, to feel confident and to feel good about themselves. Difficulties with emotional or mental health early on can prevent us from having the chance to live full lives in the future. This is why improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people is a priority area for the National Programme.

Strategies and Frameworks:

We've supported the development of the Scottish Government's early years strategy as well as the consultation on the Framework for Children and Young People's Mental Health.
