Children and Young People's Resources

NEW Resource!

Positive Pete

In collaboration with Penumbra and a group of young people the National Programme has created a profile page on Bebo where young people can chat and share information. The aim of the forum is to raise awareness of positive mental health and wellbeing, and help to create a young people’s ‘mental health movement’. It is targeted at young people aged between 13-18 years old. To find out more about the project visit Positive Pete's page on WellScotland.

Talking2Ourselves

The Young Person's Research Group consists of twenty young people drawn from all over Scotland. They identified a gap in online information for 12-14year-olds while at a conference hosted by HeadsUpScotland. With support from workers at Penumbra and the Scottish Development Centre for Mental Health, they've worked to produce a site giving information and advice from a young person's point of view. In the process, they've learned loads about mental health issues, online journalism and website production.
