It's officially spring!

Things eventually came to head last week. Decisions were made and, as predicted, I wasn't very happy. Negotiations were re-opened, decisions were changed, agreements were reached. This included an agreement to hold all future negotiations at a more sensible hour!

I bought more Roman Chamomile at the weekend. I mention this most weeks in my medication, so I thought it might be worth explaining what it actually is. Roman Chamomile is not to be confused with just plain old Chamomile tea. I buy Roman Chamomile flowers (dried) from a herbalist. I use about 3-5 flowers infused in boiling water. I just drink mine straight, as I don't drink tea (I don't like the taste and I try to avoid caffeine). However, other people I know like to put Roman Chamomile flowers in with their normal tea. Since a friend of mine introduced me to Roman Chamomile, I have, in turn, introduced several more people to it, not all of whom are as mental as me. I find it is very good for getting your through stressful situations as it promotes relaxation without the tiredness that can be associated with sedatives.

It can even get my partner to sit still and stop jiggling about when he is in one of his hyper moods!

I suppose I should say, that although I have had no problems and nor has anyone I know, as with all such things, it is probably best to consult a qualified herbalist before taking them if you have any doubts about it.

It's officially spring! The clocks have changed, the days are fair drawing out. I'm not using the light box in the mornings anymore.

I cleared out my boxroom, finally, after about 5 years of stuff piling higher and higher. In some ways it was a bit of a downer as I found lots of things from my art college days and before and I'm always a bit of a sentimentalist about the past. Now that it's done I'm quite pleased with it though. Tidying, though I do it far too rarely, can be quite therapeutic.

I have been on some monster cycles. Edinburgh is a good place to be if you want to find hills to cycle up. Pretty much anywhere in Scotland, except maybe Uist, would fit the bill I suppose.

I start physio for my hip next week, so, hopefully, soon I will be able to get more variety of exercise than just my bike.
