If this were a football match between mania and depression then mania has definitely had most of the possession this week

Lately my mood is as changeable as the weather. I can be decidedly autumnal one day and then quite sunny the next.

This week has been mostly overcast with some sunny intervals.

I am still having fairly frantic moments but I am channelling the extra energy into reasonably productive effort.

Inspired by a website I found, I have decided to do a half hour painting a day. My first efforts have been dire but they should improve over time.

I have also been doing a lot more yoga to try and relax.

I asked the GP for an exercise referral. I thought that he would know all about this but it looks like it is run by the council and that they are the best point of contact for this.

As far as I know, the scheme is set up so that if you need to exercise for a medical reason, then you can get your GP to fill in a form from the council leisure department and they will arrange a reduced cost exercise programme to suit.

I’ll let you know how I get on with sorting this out.

Summary

If this were a football match between mania and depression then mania has definitely had most of the possession this week. Not sleeping very well. Trying to use the increased energy in a focussed way.
