So, I survived Christmas
To make it extra special this year I had PMT and a cold. Still it all went okay. The Christmas shopping crowds this year didn’t seem too threatening. I didn’t do anything horrendously embarrassing at the work’s Christmas do - fortunately our do is not within sight of a photocopier, which probably saves a lot of blushes later.
Much food was consumed, a fair bit of alcohol was drunk, and the obligatory Christmas day board game related argument was had.
Dinner with the family on Boxing Day went off fine.
Last year I was very anxious and unhappy, so I’m extra pleased that this year has been so relaxing. I keep waiting for the bubble to burst and for the winter blues to descend but so far everything really is going very well.
The only fly in the ointment was a really dismal football result. Looked to me very much like our goalie had a bad hangover!
I’ve not come up with any big plans for Hogmanay yet but that’s the way I’d rather keep it. My partner has to work, which is a bit of a pain as I’d really like to see him for the bells but, then again, we have the rest of the year to hang out.
Week commencing 19/12/05
Medication: 3 cups of roman chamomile tea.
Exercise: Have not been to the gym but I have been for quite a few walks – 4 hrs
