. It has skilled and experienced staff who are ready to listen to callers every day from 6pm until 2am. Breathing Space also directs callers to helpful services and sources of information in their local area.

Breathing Space and the National Programme

Although Breathing Space was originally set up to help meet the key aim of preventing suicide it also supports the work that is in place for all of our key aims. The National Programme has allocated funding to ensure that the work of Breathing Space can continue at least until 2008.
